Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Neoconda LLC ("Neoconda", "we", "us") handles your data when you use this documentation site, docs.neoconda.com (the "Site"). It does not cover neoconda.com, our other properties, or Neoconda hardware products, which may be governed by their own policies.

The short version

  • We don't use cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for "necessary" functionality.
  • We don't have user accounts, sign-ups, or logins.
  • We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.
  • Search runs entirely in your browser — your queries are never sent anywhere.
  • If you use Ask AI, your question is sent to our service providers to generate an answer, and a short automated security check runs first. We may review questions to improve the documentation; see below.

What we don't collect

We do not use cookies of any kind. We do not require or offer account registration, and we do not knowingly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or physical address through this Site.

Local storage of preferences

The Site remembers your light/dark theme preference, and whether you have accepted the notice shown before first using Ask AI, using your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie: the value stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Our search feature indexes the documentation content and runs entirely inside your browser. Your search queries are never sent to a server or logged anywhere.

Ask AI

When you use the "Ask AI" feature, the questions you type (and the recent messages in that chat) are sent to our service providers, including a third-party AI provider, so that an answer can be generated. We may review these questions and answers to identify gaps in our documentation, improve the feature, and prevent abuse. We do not knowingly collect information that identifies you personally through this process, so please don't include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in your questions.

Before an Ask AI question is processed, an automated security check runs in your browser to confirm that you are a person and not a bot. This check may use technical signals from your browser and device and is provided by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy. We also use your IP address, temporarily, to limit how many questions can be asked in a short period.

Chats are not saved in any account or tied to a profile; closing or clearing a chat removes it from your browser. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate. See our Terms of Service for details.

The first time you use Ask AI, you are asked to agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy and to acknowledge that your questions are sent to a third-party provider. Your agreement is recorded only in your browser (see "Local storage of preferences" above), not on our servers.

Server and network logs

Like virtually every website, this Site is served through a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which automatically logs standard technical information for security and reliability purposes — for example, IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. Retention and handling of these logs are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Third parties

We use Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and bot protection, and a third-party AI provider to generate Ask AI answers. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
